The John F. Kennedy You Don’t Know

John F. Kennedy

The presidency of John F. Kennedy is often a very controversial subject to many. Even though it has been half a century that he was brutally murdered, he is still being talked and debated about. Columnist Richard Reeves wrote an article on his research concerning this influential president. His article featured a picture of the former president wearing a pair of tortoise glasses, which added to his handsome smile, which made the president very charming. The black glasses that the former president wore in Dallas added to his personal appeal.

The feelings towards this president vary. While many praise him for his speaking talents and his ability to inspire people to be better people and better citizens, others have said he was a president that had a hidden personal life. While many know him from the public exposure of his private rendez-vous with Marilyn Monroe, others know him as an imperfect human being who did the best he could to lead his country.

According to historians, this man was responsible for helping prevent wars with Cuba and Germany as well as his pro-civil rights for blacks. He was also known for his confidence in how to deal with the Soviets, which was a subject of top concern for the United States at that time. He also placed national healthcare and immigration reform at the top of his priorities list.

Instead of being known as the president that was assassinated in such heartbreaking circumstances, he is also known as a president that has done his absolute best and his confidence in his country. The JFK assassination helped American citizens to remember the best of their beloved president.
